Behold the Days
04:26
|
|||
VERSE
1. "Behold the days are coming,"
Declares the Lord our God,
When I shall make with Israel
And Judah a new bond;
Not as the promise which I made
And which their fathers broke."
The law in stone was shown to be
A harsh and threat'ning yoke.
VERSE
2. "My law shall be in every heart
To teach them to obey;
And it shall be their great delight
To serve Me in that day.
I shall prepare a sacrifice
By shedding precious blood
To bring My people near to Me,
So shall I be their God."
CHORUS
Look to the cross,
The promise now fulfilled.
Our debt was paid;
The covenant is sealed.
Such love displayed
For all the world to see;
Our King has come
To rescue and redeem.
VERSE
3. "No more shall men their neighbors teach
For all within this bond
By faith in Jesus Christ shall know
That I the Lord am God.
I shall forgive their lawless deeds,
Remember sins no more."
For in that day grace will abound
Through Jesus Christ the Lord.
CHORUS
Look to the cross,
The promise now fulfilled.
Our debt was paid;
The covenant is sealed.
Such love displayed
For all the world to see;
Our King has come
To rescue and redeem.
VERSE
4. Behold the new Jerusalem,
The Israel of God,
Who were condemned to wrath and hell
Now purchased by His blood,
Who once were not a people,
But now have been brought near,
As the true seed of Abraham,
A bride beloved and dear!
CHORUS
Look to the cross,
The promise now fulfilled.
Our debt was paid;
The covenant is sealed.
Such love displayed
For all the world to see;
Our King has come
To rescue and redeem.

Unchanging Righteousness
03:29
|
|||
VERSE
1. There sits My Righteousness,
Enthroned at God's right hand:
The perfect, spotless Lamb of God,
In Him alone I stand.
No better is my stand
On days when all feels right,
No worse when days are dark and gray,
For nothing dims His light.
CHORUS
Unchanging Righteousness,
My only hope and plea,
That Jesus came and lived and bled
And died and rose for me.
VERSE
2. The Law cannot condemn,
Since I in Christ abide.
It sees His perfect work and is
Completely satisfied.
When God looks down on me,
He sees no lack or need,
For there in heaven, My Righteousness
Does always intercede.
CHORUS
Unchanging Righteousness,
My only hope and plea,
That Jesus came and lived and bled
And died and rose for me.
VERSE
3. By imputation mine,
Through faith in Christ alone,
Enfolded in His righteousness
That God has made my own.
A never ending store,
A bountiful supply!
Each day the same, My Righteousness
Exalted reigns on high.
CHORUS
Unchanging Righteousness,
My only hope and plea,
That Jesus came and lived and bled
And died and rose for me.
TAG
That Jesus came and lived and bled
And died and rose for me.

1. Gathered now, we come to worship,
Hearts united, singing praise!
We would look to Jesus only,
Letting none distract our gaze.
May we offer music fitting
For the worship of our King.
Let us foremost seek His pleasure
As our voices join to sing.
2. We come not for entertainment,
Not for outward pomp and show.
Our hearts hunger for the Scriptures;
More of Jesus we would know!
In our prayers and conversations,
In the worship that we bring,
Christ must occupy the center,
Glorified in everything.
3. Lord, we pray now through the preaching,
You would make the Savior known.
May Your messenger diminish
That we might see Christ alone.
We come not to hear man's wisdom;
Man's advice we do not need.
Lead us to lush, verdant Scripture—
There, on Jesus, let us feed!

Upon This Rock
03:51
|
|||
VERSE
1. To God alone our voice we raise
And to His glory live our days.
May we ever seek His face,
Exalt His name here in this place.
CHORUS
We shall stand upon this Rock,
Counting all this world as loss,
Finding everlasting joy
In the shadow of the cross.
VERSE
2. Keep His Word before our eyes,
At the center of our lives.
May those who see us plainly view
The love Christ through lives made new.
CHORUS
We shall stand upon this Rock,
Counting all this world as loss,
Finding everlasting joy
In the shadow of the cross.
VERSE
3. Pour out Your grace and mercy here,
Awaken hearts, Lord, bring us near.
Rest our faith in Christ alone,
Then send us out to make Him known.
CHORUS
We shall stand upon this Rock,
Counting all this world as loss,
Finding everlasting joy
In the shadow of the cross.
BRIDGE
We have nowhere else to turn
For righteousness we cannot earn.
There's no hope apart from grace,
O come, His gospel now embrace.
FINAL CHORUS
Come and stand upon this Rock,
Counting all this world as loss,
Here find everlasting joy
In the shadow of the cross.
TAG
You'll find everlasting joy
In the shadow of the cross.

1. 'Tis such a mystery, Father,
Why I was loved of Thee.
A sinner, hell deserving,
Without excuse or plea;
My soul was wholly broken
By Thy truth's heavy load,
For I was found unable
To pay the price I owed.
2. Unsearchable and wondrous
Are Thy ways Sov'reign Lord,
That Thou shouldst die to purchase
What I could ne'er afford.
Thy blood has bought me fully
To live only for Thee.
Thy cross is set before me
That holy I might be.
3. My heart was then Thy conquest;
Thy Spirit sought and won
And placed my own due judgement
On Thy own precious Son.
Thy truth did pierce my darkness,
Exposed my helpless plight;
But Thou found my salvation
To be Thy heart's delight.
4. Amazing thoughts to ponder
When I consider Thee,
Before the world's creation
Didst then consider me.
Elected in Christ Jesus
And called into His love;
His blood has bought my pardon,
'Tis mercy from above.

In Trying Times
02:56
|
|||
1. In trying times my soul despairs,
My understanding fails;
And then my heart falls prey to sin,
I doubt and gloom prevails.
2. "Most Sovereign Lord," my lips proclaim,
But then my heart betrays
And wretches in anxiety,
Is blind to Thy good ways.
3. With such a Sovereign, Mighty God,
How foolish to despair!
When He is making all things good
For those within His care.
4. That I could see my Father's hand
In every circumstance;
Such hope I'd grasp with all my strength
To see my faith advance.
5. O God forgive my unbelief,
Cause all my fears to cease.
Teach me again Thy love and grace;
Restore my joy and peace.

1. Let us run with perseverance,
Pressing forward by God's grace,
Looking always unto Jesus,
'Til we see Him face to face.
In the day when we are tempted
And enticed to leave the way,
Let us keep our eyes on Jesus
And in Him we shall not stray.
2. In the day of joy and gladness,
Let us come and bring our praise,
For when we look unto Jesus,
We have cause to thank always.
In the day of grief and sorrow,
Let us run and be assured,
To the ones who look to Jesus,
God makes all things work for good.
3. In the day when we grow weary,
Let us rise and strive and fight.
We must keep our eyes on Jesus,
Lest we sleep while it is light.
Let us not become discouraged
When the way grows steep and long,
But affix our eyes on Jesus;
He can change our sighs to song.
4. Many saints have gone before us;
They bear witness, God is true.
As they ran and looked to Jesus,
He brought each one safely through.
Press on Christian, run with patience,
Whether you find ease or strife;
Never take your eyes off Jesus,
Only He has Words of Life.

The Kingdom Has Come
04:27
|
|||
CHORUS
The Kingdom has come.
The King is on His throne.
In all the world He makes
His sovereign mercy known.
Established in the hearts
Of all He's made anew:
The Kingdom of God is now in you!
VERSES
1. Unseen the Conqueror comes
Removing hearts of stone
Opening eyes
Bending knees
Establishing His throne
Making His glorious kingdom known.
2. A better covenant,
A better offering
For Christ has come
The Lamb of God
Our Prophet, Priest and King
To Him the sacrifice of praise we bring.
CHORUS
The Kingdom has come.
The King is on His throne.
In all the world He makes
His sovereign mercy known.
Established in the hearts
Of all He's made anew:
The Kingdom of God is now in you!
VERSES
3. Not born of flesh and blood
Nor by the will of man
To hear His call
And heed His voice
You must be born again
To see His Kingdom and to enter in.
4. For all those who dwell in
The Kingdom of Heaven
From least to great
They know the Lord
Their sins have been forgiven
All in whom the Spirit dwells within.
CHORUS
The Kingdom has come.
The King is on His throne.
In all the world He makes
His sovereign mercy known.
Established in the hearts
Of all He's made anew:
The Kingdom of God is now in you!
VERSES
5. All those who believe
And of their sins repent
Do now enjoy
The blessings of
His gracious covenant
In His blood, a way more excellent.
6. In every land and tongue
The sovereign Savior sows
His Kingdom come
His will be done
The good seed sprouts and grows
Widely as His sovereign mercy flows.
FINAL CHORUS
The King reigns in power
And one day He'll return
To gather all His wheat
The tares removed and burned
The harvest safely in
God's work on earth is done
Completing every good work He's begun.
The righteous will shine forth like the sun!

1. Send the Law before the Gospel,
Shine the Light revealing sin!
Men will see they need a Savior
As their hearts are bared within.
Weep you sinners under judgement;
See yourself before God's Law!
Full deserving condemnation,
Dread the wrath of God in awe.
2. Come you sinners and take comfort,
You convicted and dismayed,
For God's love is only sown in
Furrows that His Law has made.
Come you sinners, look to Jesus!
He's fulfilled the Law's demands.
Christ will turn your dread and sorrow
Into love for God's commands.
3. Praise to God for such instruction,
Sent to show us our great need.
We must place our hope in Jesus
And in Him we shall be freed.
O believer, be encouraged!
Christ died suff'ring in our place;
Bore the sins of all His children,
That we shall come unto grace.
4. On the cross was Christ afflicted,
There endur'd the wrath of God.
Now the Law no more condemns us,
Satisfied by His shed blood.
God has set His Law before us;
Let His Word be our delight!
As we travel unto glory,
Persevering in His light.
5. God has given His commandments;
They shall never pass away.
On our hearts His Spirit writes them,
That we can through grace obey.
May His Law forever guide us
In the paths of righteousness,
As we seek His will most holy,
All our efforts He shall bless!

Go Forth Ye Saints
03:13
|
|||
1. Go forth, ye saints,
And preach to all the nations,
Exposing sin,
That men may see their need,
Revealing Christ,
That they may find forgiveness,
And His commandments
Teach the saints to heed.
2. Go forth in pow'r,
Assured God's Word will triumph;
For all whom God
Has chosen will believe.
For Christ has come,
Laid hold and bound the strong man;
Shown forth His light
For sinners to receive.
3. Upon the cross,
Our Savior made atonement;
The empty tomb,
He triumphed o'er the grave.
The serpent's head was bruised;
He was defeated;
The debt was paid
For those Christ came to save.
4. The dragon bound,
The gospel shines in vict'ry;.
The Sov'reign God,
Restrains the world of sin.
A thousand years,
The church blooms forth in fullness
'Til all the saints
Are safely gathered in.
5. So go in hope,
Ye saints, and preach the gospel;.
Though Satan rages,
It is God who reigns.
For there in none
Now lost in sin and darkness
The pow'r of God
Can't loose from Satan's chains.
